Does anyone have a later MIB description for the Synoptics LattisNet Products. I have the "Common MIB Release 3.2 -- DRAFT Revision 9/30/91 -- Printed 10/7/91" but this seems to be far out of date. A pointer on the internet would also do it. The Bay Networks poeple in Germany will not provide this MIB because it's part of their "Optimum ?" product. Thanks Peter

I was looking for this MIB too. Synoptics has a 'public' mib and a 'proprietary' mib. The last one is not given to customers, event big ones !!! to my knowledge. If this is required ask the customer that he puts pressure to Bay-Networks, but the chance to get the mib is very very low ! The public one is the one distributed with DECmcc. Optimum... ? Optivity... no wonder. Their Optivity product is an exact replica of our PNV product... which is a replica of IBM's Netview, which is a replica of HPOpenView....whew! You might want to ask this question in NOTED::PNV... lots of folks there that used to be in this conference... good luck, /Mic |
