6371.0. "DECmcc is not yet supported on OPENVMS 6.2" by DSVB03::TABONE () Mon Sep 04 1995 12:24

Hi All,

As I received some problems with DECmcc running on OPENVMS 6.2, I would like to
inform you, that it is not yet supported.
We know about these problems but we cannot solve them case by case. A global work
will be necessary and that'll take several months.

For any informations about that, please contact Susan Pomerleau at ulysse::Pomerleau
who is the DECmcc Product manager.

Best regards,
Philippe Tabone - DECmcc Maintenance Team -

    Hi Philippe,

    	you've piqued my curiosity.

Are you allowed to elaborate a little on which parts of MCC don't run
    with VMS 6.2 ?

    	Regards, Conrad

Hello Conrad,

The answer is no. For now, there is no management decision in that way.
The official version maintained is V1.4 on VMS 6.1 max.

But, we can support you for some little problems if we have the time for.

So, we always try to satisfy you and all customer supports with our modest
means asap.

Best regards,

    Re .2:
    Hi Philippe,

can you tell me the newest status of this issue?

Is MCC 1.4 now supported with VMS 6.2?

Is the statement I got from Susan Pomerleau (former product manager)
    in February 96 still valid?:
"A patch is available providing OpenVMS 6.2 support at a cost of $5K."

    Thanks in advance
