Hi everybody,
does any information if someone in Digital has developed
an application to send text messages to the GSM SMS service? The
SMS service of GSM enables GSM telephone users to see 160 character length
text meassages on their displays.
The sending application is required to be run on a Digital UNIX
system and OpenVMS system. The program is intende to be used in action routines
for Netview, System Watchdog, Console Managar.
I have identified two applications on the software market, but
running on other platforms. Those applications requires porting
efforts that vendor asks us to take on. So, this request of info is to avoid
costs and efforts of doing a port to rather sell a Digital
Solution.
