    Hello...
    
    Running VMS 5.5-2 and DECmcc 1.4....
    
    The problem is with a Channelworks bridge.
    
    The customer problem is as follows:
    
    When we go into CW bridge and go down the tree.... 
    (lancity-->lcbridge-->lcBridgeAccess-->show characteristic),
    the screen HANGS, ie, the clock icon keeps ticking. Eventually, we
    get:
    
    Internet communication device error, %system-F-IVchan, invalid I/O
    channel
    
    Any insight is appreciated...
