Customer (MCI/NASDAQ) is running DECMCC T1.4-0 on Ultrix V4.3A. They are using the 'mcc_iconic_map' am to monitor the network. When they click on the icon for one (and only one) WANserver 400, the receive the following error message: Entity existence cannot be determined VMS routine error 52877394 (Note: This is an ULTRIX system) There are no problems accessing other entities within the same domain. MCC and the WANserver are otherwise working just fine. Any ideas what this error number indicates? Cannnot find references to it anywhere. Thanks in advance. > Entity existence cannot be determined > VMS routine error 52877394 > (Note: This is an ULTRIX system) Just read "VMS routine error" as "OS specific error" This means that this code comes from an error detected buy some module outside of MCC. In this case ( 52877394 ) this is a DNS_ERROR. Hope this helps, Benoit |
