| 6293.1 | You need MCC V1.4 for VMS 6.1 | COL01::LOPEZ | Arturo Lopez drinks Klsch at Cologne | Mon May 08 1995 16:48 | 25 |
Carlo,
I had DECmcc V1.3 on VMS 5-5.2. Then I upgraded to VMS 6.1. Nothing
runned.
I installed DECmcc V1.4 on top of VMS 6.1. Everithing works fine. I
hope :-). I upgraded last week. I had to install everything again, BMS,
TS_AM, ELM, Vitalink_AM, UCX, DNS, Rdb, CDD, Motif and CDPS.
Now I hope, I'm done.
Answer to your question.
MCC V1.4 on top of VMS 6.1 runs.
MCC V1.3 did not run after the upgrade to VMS 6.1.
Look in to the CD of march 95. You will MCC V1.4 or on BIKINI. But as
you know. We must not give the internal kits to the customer, they have
to buy the media kit, if they have to suscribed to the SW-update
service.

Hi Lopez, thanks for your quickly and exaustive answer. Unfortunately we haven't received the CD of march 95 so I didn't know that version 1.4 was released. Sorry & thanks Carlo | |||||
