I have a customer with a %MCC-E-WRONG_CMA error after installing BMS014 on a VMS V6.1 system. 'current version of CMA is incompatible with MCC' The version of the CMA-exe-files in sys$library is V2.11. Which version is expected by MCC V1.4 ? Does the installation of MCCKRNECO01013 solve this problem ??? Ciao, Manfred

Hi Manfred, MCC V1.4 is designed to work with CMA version present on VMS 5.5-2 and newer version present on VMS 6.1. I currently run MCC on a VMS 6.1 system with no problems CMA version is module name: "CMA$LIB_SHR" module version: "CMA V2.11-129" This is the version which comes with VMS 6.1 and no change was made for MCC. >>Does the installation of MCCKRNECO01013 solve this problem ??? Dont do that. This ECO is designed for MCC V1.3. There are 5 CMA executable files. Did you checked all five ? Regards, Benoit |
