After installing EMS 2.4 my customer encounters a problem during
the IVP . In fact he can't enroll the script AM
mcc> enroll mcc_script_am
gives the message :
mcc-e-existance_error , object does not exist
the image seems correct :
Directory SYS$COMMON:[SYSLIB]
image name: "MCC_SCRIPT"
image file identification: "DECMCC V1.4-1"
link date/time: 17-JAN-1995 18:45:01.75
linker identification: "05-13"
Any idea ?
Thanks for help
Regards
JOcelyne.

Hello Jocelyne, WE cann't reproduce the problem: DECmcc (V1.4-1) MMCC> enroll mcc_script_am %MCC-I-ENRDUPLENTRY, enrollment successful; duplicate entries found and replaced MCC> MCC> MCC> MCC> Also note that the script AM is nomally enrolled at startup by the: MCC_STARTUP_BMS.COM procedure: $ @sys$startup:MCC_STARTUP_BMS.COM ENROLL So we cann't guess what happens at your customer. Eric,
Thanks for your reply . sorry for the delay but I was out.
I have 2 mcc stations in DECmcc 1.4 and I can't reproduce the problem :
during" MCC> enroll mcc_script_am "I get exactly the same message than you :
%MCC-I-ENRDUPLENTRY, enrollment successful; duplicate entries found and
replaced
BUT ,on the customer site, the problem is reproductible at will !
During an ENROLL , what is the signification of the error message
mcc-e-existance_error , object does not exist
what can I check to have more info ?
Thanks for help,
Regards,
JOcelyne.
