6246.0. "Iconic Map operations on PC Decwindows" by COMICS::PRICEC (J Conrad Price DTN 833-3269) Fri Mar 03 1995 18:39

Not sure if this is an MCC or a PC-Decwindows problem, but this is a
    good starting place.

Using MCC on a motif windows environment , when selecting the
"operations" option on the Iconic map , what appears to be a fixed size
pael is opened with all the possible options.

This is fine on a full size workstation, but if the MCC Iconic map is
displayed to a PC running PC-Decwindows (with autopanning) , the fixed
size panel is opened, and the iconic map autopans, but the bottom 4
options on the panel are off the bottom of the screen.

Any ideas on how to reduce the size of the panel, or encourage the PC
to pan to the bottom of this panel ??

6246.1Look at the resolutionDV780::SMITHGThu Mar 09 1995 13:559
Is it possible that you are using a window driver that has a lower
resolution than the application is expecting? This sounds like what I
ran into with some of the newer multimedia sofware; my windows driver
was running at 640x480 and the application was expecting 800x600. The
result was that the bottom of the window was off the screen as you are
describing. Not sure if this is what is happening to you, but it
    sounds like its a possibility.

Conrad,

Go to the Options meun and open [Map...]

In the window that is poppe up, under Operation Menu, push the radio button "Use list box"
the click on [OK]

Now go to the Operations menu, and click on [Operation Mode ->] then click on [List Box]

you'll get a list box with the command in them, so you can scroll to get the desired
Exporter commands, which are at the bottom of the original Operations menu.
