I have a Customer problem whereby they get the error:- %MCC-E-ILVTOOBIG, no more room in buffer for additional entries. when they try to implement more than 60 Discriminator Construct sub filters in to an Operational Construct. Q1/ Is there an upper limit to the OC/DC data that the MIR can hold, if so has this customer reached it? Q2/ Or is it possible to make more buffer space available and how? NOTE: 'df' shows plenty of disk space on the file systems. There are 8 OCs registered (below), of which two are corrupted and awaiting recovery of alarms by DEC (another problem). Any suggestions gratefully accepted Colin Eglin

This appears to have been fixed in BL V201 (ref TAEC::TEMIP OCT 94). Colin | |||||

> >Q1/ Is there an upper limit to the OC/DC data that the MIR can hold, if so > has this customer reached it? > Yes. There is a limit. The limit is the max size record for a MIR record : 10k. >Q2/ Or is it possible to make more buffer space available and how? > > No. 10k is the max. Regards. Pierre. |
