6198.0. "%MCC-E-LMF_FAILED, license check failed again ?" by ZPOVC::SINSPS () Wed Dec 21 1994 23:02

Hi,

Is this a old problem relived ? Or, is there something I'm missing.

This customer is trying to install DECMCC-EMS 2.3 on a OpenVMS/VAX 6.1 system.
While starting up BMS and ELM during post installation, he kept getting :-

	"%MCC-E-LMF_FAILED, license check failed".

His license is as follows :-

	Issuer: DEC
	Authorisation: ALS-PA-92008-85
	Product Name: DECMCC-EMS
	Producer: DEC
	Units: 100
	Version: 0.0
	Release Date: (none)
	PAK Termination Date: (none)
	Availability: 0
	Activity: 000000100
	Options: MOD_UNITS
	Hardware ID:

	Revision Level: 1
	Status: Active

Any idea, suggestion & advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Install the field test kit available on TOUDON::MCC$PUBLIC:DECMCC_T141_VMS] or wait a few weeks
until we make the SSB kit available probably in TOUDON::MCC$PUBLIC:DECMCC_V14%_VMS]. The march CDs
will contain a new release of DECmcc.

By-the-way DECmcc V1.3 and VMS V6.n (and the CMA run-time that goes with it) are not as compatible
as they should be. So that combination strongly disrecommended and anyhow not supported.
