Dear all,
The MCC T1.4. VMS field test kit of Polycenter Network Manager is now
available for release to your customers. The kit location and save-sets
are listed in Appendix A.
Please use the Field Test Questionaire in Appendix B to register your field
test. The questionaire helps us to stay in touch with you on matters of the
field test and to more efficiently provide support in case should this be
necessary.
For field test feedback please use the QAR database FT_MCC_140 with the
account FT_MCC, located on DSVB03 (51.606).
You are using T1.4 (field test version) of the DECmcc software. This field
test software kit is valid and will function only until midnight 15 May 95.
The V1.4 (officially supported version) will be released and available for
sale at the end of March. Please contact your local sales representative.
To ensure that you have ordered your official V1.4 release version prior
to the expiration date of 15 May 1995 for this current field test version.
Please also note that a DECmcc Newsletter and User Group is being formed.

INTRODUCTION:
This questionnaire is designed to clarify both the customer's and
Digital's responsibilities regarding the prerequisites necessary
for the field test of Polycenter Network Manager T1.4.
Please fill in the administrative questionnaire and send it back as
soon as possible to the above address; the technical questionnaire,
needed by our engineering to better understand the complexity of the
environment where the product is running, will be answered to after
having run the field test for some time.
The questionnaire will also help ensure that the sites eventually
selected to participate in the field test will adequately test the
features of this product to provide meaningful feedback to Digital.
Please note that the information contained in this site selection
questionnaire will be held in strictest confidence.

Appendix A: Kit Location:

Polycenter Network Manager T1.4 provides the same functionality
as Polycenter Network Manager V1.3.0 with bug fixes.
Release notes are included in the kit.
The Polycenter Network Manager installation procedure requires
that the Polycenter Network Manager licenses be loaded prior
to installing the product.
Your previous Polycenter Network Manager license is still valid.
Polycenter Network Manager for VMS T1.4 External Field Test

| Well, somebody mocked around with FAL$SERVER. I fixed the problem for now,
however, still need to find who made these bad modifications to the account.
Otherwise the problem may re-appear.
