    Is there any way to pass a "community string" ie. BY PASSWORD, greater
    than 31 characters?  I'm using MCC V1.3 on VMS.
    
    FWIW:  Wiltel has implemented their frame relay traffic mib by using
    queries in the community string.

Queries in the community string is really bogus.
 Wiltel should fix their agent.

    I called it a 'kluge', but that won't may it go away.   They are
    working on fixing it, but that is months away.... 
    Am I to infer from your comment that you don't know of any workaround to
    the 31 character limit??
