6170.0. "Char/status/counter attributes of DECnet/OSI node?" by WARABI::CHIUANDREW () Wed Nov 16 1994 01:05
Hi,
Could someone point me where I can get the details explainations on the
CHAR, STATUS, COUNTERS atttibutes of a DECnet/OSI node (I search for
DECnet/OSI Access Module Use manaul, but it does not explain what I
want. e.g. interface state in MODEM CONNECT LINE's STATUS attribute
that can be DTE ready, Pending DTE, connecting, etc..
Customer want to have better idea on status attributes returned from a
DECnis (DECnet/OSI node).
PS: I can find something very useful in Bridge Access Module that
explains status attributes of bridge line.
thanks
Andrew Chiu - NIS Sydney

6170.1 | Char/status/counter information of DECnet/OSI | AZUR::DURIF | | Thu Nov 17 1994 07:26 | 9 |
| Hi,
The documentation you are searching for is not in MCC documentation set.
MCC knows datatypes of the attributes but not the meaning.
I would have a look at DECnet/OSI documentation.
