6142.0. "Was this impleamented in the T1.4 release for Ultrix??" by MADMXX::WOESTEMEYER (Why??...Why not!!!) Thu Oct 20 1994 16:07
Note 5180.0 implies an enhancment to the TCPIP AM for a special project.
Was this enhancment incorporated into the T1.4 kit for Ultrix?? I am in the
same boat and would like to be able to get traps from both interfaces.

Note 5180.0 Managing dual Ethernet networks via DECmcc 1 reply
CUJO::HILL "Dan Hill-Net.Mgt.-Customer Resident" 32 lines 10-JUN-1993 16:32
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have successfully tested a VAX4000/90 with dual Ethernet controllers
receiving SNMP traps from two separate networks.

We generated multiple traps from nodes ip1 and ip2 and MCC
processed them very nicely.
This required a modification to the MCC_TCPIP_SINK.EXE. The
modification will be (I hope) included in the upcoming MUP or slightly
thereafter.
Thanks to the engineering team for their efforts.
