Hi all
When trying to enable a CHANGE_OF alarm rule that checks if something
has changed in a DEChub900 module I am getting an error ILVTOOBIG, and
the rule is not enabled.
This happens when you try to check changes on any MIB variable that is
9 or more levels "below" the global entity. For example:
EXPRESSION = (change_of (snmp xxx dec ema decmibextension dechub900
mgmtagent mgmtagentversion1 chassis chasentity chasentitychanges, *, *)
I have tried with several other variables at this level or deeper with
the same result. If you go up in the tree it works ok
I am going to submit a formal SPR, but meanwhile I desperately need a
workaround
VMS V5.5-2
MCC V1.3

| 6136.4 | Does not enroll | ISIDRO::LUISGON | Wed Oct 19 1994 05:55 | 25 | |
I've tried to load the new .exe, but it does not enroll:
I placed it in sys$library and:
>>> dir/date DKA300:[VMS$COMMON.SYSLIB]MCC_ALARMS_FM.EXE.
>>>
>>> Directory DKA300:[VMS$COMMON.SYSLIB]
>>>
>>> MCC_ALARMS_FM.EXE;5
>>> 19-OCT-1994 10:46:29.40
>>>
>>> Total of 1 file.
>>> $ mana/enter
>>> DECmcc (V1.3.0)
>>>
>>> MCC> enroll mcc_alarms_fm
>>> %RMS-E-EOF, end of file detected
>>> MCC> exit
Did I do something wrong ?
Thanks
