	     kit available.


        I am very pleased to announce that TeMIP Framework for OSF/1 T2.0.1
	External Field Test Update is now available.

        TeMIP Framework V2.0 provides the same functionality on OSF/1 as
        POLYCENTER PNM200 V1.3 on ULTRIX along with miscellaneous enhancements
	and bug fixes.

	Release notes are now also provided as a subset of the kit installation
	and can be found under the /usr/mcc/release.notes directory after
	installation of the TFRRELT201 subset. Please read them carefully 
        before installing the kit.

	The TeMIP Framework installation procedure requires that the TeMIP
	Framework licenses be loaded prior to installing the product.

	In order to get a TeMIP Framework license, send mail to the TEMIP 
	account, TAEC::TEMIP, giving your mail address to receive the PAK.

	TeMIP Framework	licenses are provided *FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY*.

	The FT sites will receive their PAKs directly from TeMIP Framework
	Product Manager Philippe Gervaise and must not use the internal
	PAKs. 
	
	This software is for licensed field test sites approved by TeMIP
	Framework Product Manager and also for general internal use only. 

        TeMIP Framework for OSF/1 T2.0.1 External Field Test Update kit is 
	available on the Easynet and can be found at the following location  :

	You can use dcp -iv to copy the kits. Please copy the kits outside
	of working hours (8:00 am - 6:00 pm European time), as they are
	located on a production system.
	Note : European time is US Eastern time + 6 hours.

	The kits can be copied by ftp from unitel.vbo.dec.com (16.36.128.99).

Make sure to include the "i" for image mode copy, or your file may
be corrupted by the copy.

	This kit will also be available from the Internet via anonymous
	ftp, location and procedure to copy it from outside Digital will 
	be described in a separate memorandum.


        The tar files should be unpacked with "tar -xvf filename",
        then installed with "setld -l ."


	The TeMIP Framework documentation set has not been updated since
	the T2.0.0 release. The updated documentation will be available
	with the final Framework release end of October 1994.

        The TeMIP Framework T2.0.0 FT documentation is available in PostScript
	format in the following location on the EasyNet.
