My customer uses RSM 2.4 and DECmcc 1.3 on his VMS 5.5-2 system.
After upgrading to RSM 3.0 , he gets the following message :
$ mana/ent
The MCC product is not installed.
The license DECMCC-BMS is active,
MCC startup works fine
BUT
$ ana/image sys$system:mcc_main gives
image file identification: " RSM V3.0 "
link date/time: 7-APR-1994
I trie , without success, commands documented in POLYCENTER Network
Manager 200 Version V1.3 Release Notes :
>>> If RSM cannot be installed until after the installation of
DECmcc, then you must perform the following steps after the RSM
installation has been completed:
o Log into the system account.
o Use the following command to update the system help library:
$ LIBRARY/HELP/REPLACE SYS$HELP:HELPLIB.HLB -
MCC_SYSTEM:MCC_MANAGE.HLP
o Use the following commands to update the system command
tables.
$ SET COMMAND/TABLE=SYS$COMMON:[SYSLIB]DCLTABLES -
/OUTPUT=SYS$COMMON:[SYSLIB]DCLTABLES -
MCC_SYSTEM:MCC_COMMANDS
$ INSTALL REPLACE SYS$LIBRARY:DCLTABLES
Does someone kwno this problem ?
