6088.0. "Bitset error during show status" by DV780::SMITHG () Thu Aug 18 1994 15:21
One of my customers is attempting to do a show all status on a DECnis
router; he gets a bitset error returned. I've attached his mail below.
The environment is:
VMS MCC V1.3
DECnis 600
Config is 2.3 SSB
Image is T2.5-34
BTW, there are three old (92 and earlier) notes on bitset problems; not
sure if they are still valid. The notes are 915, 1548 and 3043.
Thanks for the help.

Gary, Brad,
I am issuing a show all status on any DECnis router via the iconic map
interface and get the following error in a popup window:
error decoding attribute Services.
%mcc-e-bitset_error, value cannot exceed 32; maximum length of Bitset
is 32
The error message is consistemt in the command line interface also.
I still get the rest of the status information OK.

| No comments of this note? I guess it's time for another IPMT case.
