This question was asked before in notes 1874 but received no reply.
The exporter is running and not reporting errors. However when doing a
show exporting for status , it is noticed that the ratio of successful poll
to successful polls is about 3 to 5 or about 37% successful. While there are
no export failures, the customer is concerned with such a high rate of
unsuccessful polls. He is exporting snmp * interface * .
Some entities at the end of the list are not showing as having export data
at all (see attached output).

So the questions are :
why does the exporter consider a poll as failed when the scheduled
time has passed ?
How can I overcome (or reduced) the rate of failed poll ?
why are some entities not showing as having export data ?
