6058.0. "Event codes greater than 64K?" by CSC32::EMAWIZ::T_MILTON () Tue Jul 26 1994 12:29
In the DECmcc toolkit Release Notes page 3-19 section 3.6.1 it says
that the event codes cannot be greater than 64K. Is that assuming
a 16 BIT word? My customer is going to be using 32 bit words. He
has some SNMP events which will be bigger than 64K. Is this a
limitation which is documented in an RFC or is this just a
limitation of DECmcc's SNMP implementation? Is there any way
around this limitation?
Thanks in advance.
Ted.
