I try to setup a VXT 2000 (with a VR320) for displaying the DECmcc iconic map. I always get a map which has a different presentation compared with the one I get from an Ultrix station. The characters which are displayed ON the map show bigger on the VXT2000. I specified once a font path for 100dpi and for another time for 75 dpi. In none of the cases I could produce a map similar to the one on the ULTRIX station. Is there any clue to make both environments identical ? Kind regards, Dominique.

6050.1 | Use 75% on X_server of Terminal manager of VXT-2000 | KETJE::PACCOP | Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae | Tue Jan 17 1995 20:42 | 9 |
I was using the terminal manager of the VXT. The X_server option of the Terminal manager has the provision to specifiy a zooming factor for the fonts: 133% -- 100% -- 75% I selected 75% and then the text appearing in the iconic map was nearly of the same size of that on the workstation. Dominique. |
