(Posted in NOTED::MCC and LASSIE::UCX) Anybody running Polycenter Network Manager 200 (aka DECmcc) SSB V1.3 with DEC TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (aka UCX) SSB V3.1? Works? Doesn't work? Gotchas? Thanks- Lee

Today I installed UCX V3.1 ( on VMS 6.1 and MCC 1.3 ). The SNMP-Accessmodule runs. Karl

Lee, UCX V1.3 runs fine with MCC 400 V1.3; I imagine it's the same flavor of BMS as 200??? I am able to offer the customer a few options for network management... I'm running on an OpenVMS V6.0 platform with DECnet/OSI. I can demonstrate management using IP (SNMP AM), OSI (DNA5 AM), or DECnet Phase IV (DNA4). Once I figure out how to run OSF I can really *dazzle* them...smile. Good luck. /Mic PS. One of my clients has countered, saying they prefer Wollingong to UCX... I still trying to get details. Let you know when I do.
