    Hi,
    
    I have a customer that is interested in finding out anything he can
    regarding the mailbox that EVL and MCC_DNA4_EVL use to communicate.  He
    wants to be able to periodically check the mailbox (EVL's) for messages
    to see if any are getting old.  This would indicate that a breakdown in
    communication has occurred between the two processes and he could then
    take action to get the communication working again.  He is hoping to do
    this to prevent any loss of data on events that are sinking to the MCC
    workstation from routers on the network.
    
    Any ideas or hints would be greatly appreciated.
