I have a customer that has a problem with his MCC station looses Area Adjacency down events. He has a VAX 7000 Area router sinking its events to a 4000/90 (32MB) MCC Work Station. Once a day some Krypto gear resets its self causing the 7000 to loose its area adjacencies. The 7000 reports all 12 Adjacencies down in its operator.log. The VAx 4000/90 also reports the 12 adjacencies down in its operator log. But MCC on the 4000/90 randomly drops some of the events. He may see 8 or 9 or 11, but he never sees all 12. MCCAudit.com only complains about the 32meg of memory. No other parameters are out of line. He is worried that if it misses these events it may be missing other events. Any ideas? Alan S. The customer found a bug in his command procedure. It was not MCC after all. |
