5959.0. "How to specify data type in snmp set command" by CSC32::R_ROMMES () Sat Apr 23 1994 12:25
I am trying to set the token rotation timer on an fddi concentrator or
bridge using the following command:
set snmp dc500-1 fddi snmpfddimac snmpfddimactable (1,1) snmpfddimactreq
98440, by pass 08002b168dd1
and I get the following response:
Problem(s) modifying attribute(s),
anmpfddimactreq = -- Invalid Value
According to the Mib def this value is an integer (0..2147483647)
This data type specifies octet units of 80 nanosecons as
an integer value. blah blah blah... This encoding is normal
integer representation (Not twos compliment)
Any clues ?
Thanks, Rich.
