Hi, Is MCC not able to show fddi-controller specific counters? If you do XXXX>mcr ncp sho line mfa-0 count you get Line Counters as of 6-APR-1994 16:06:49 Line = MFA-0 >65534 Seconds since last zeroed 85650860 Data blocks received 7665611 Multicast blocks received 0 Receive failure >4294967294 Bytes received 1029696061 Multicast bytes received 0 Data overrun 77236496 Data blocks sent 497559 Multicast blocks sent >4294967294 Bytes sent 56827173 Multicast bytes sent 0 Send failure 0 Unrecognized frame destination 0 System buffer unavailable 159 User buffer unavailable >4294967294 MAC frame count 0 MAC error count 0 MAC lost count 1 Ring initializations initiated 7 Ring initializations received 0 Ring beacons initiated 0 Duplicate address test failures 0 Duplicate tokens detected 0 Ring purge errors 0 FCI strip errors 0 Traces initiated 0 Traces received 0 Directed beacons received 0 Elasticity buffer errors 0 LCT rejects 0 LEM rejects 0 Link errors 1 Connections completed and with MCC you get only normal (ethernet-type) counter MCC> show node4 .sd.vmslrz.spdt01 line mfa-0 all count Node4 SPDT01_NS:.SD.VMSLRZ.SPDT01 Line mfa-0 AT 6-APR-1994 16:06:53 Counters Examination of Attributes shows: Counter Creation Time = 5-APR-1994 21:54:38.55 Seconds Since Last Zeroed = >65535 Seconds Data Blocks Received = 85642202 Blocks Multicast Blocks Received = 7664988 Blocks Receive Failure = 0 Errors Bytes Received = >4294967295 Bytes Multicast Bytes Received = 1029614816 Bytes Data Overrun = 0 Errors Data Blocks Sent = 77227368 Blocks Multicast Blocks Sent = 497521 Blocks Bytes Sent = >4294967295 Bytes Multicast Bytes Sent = 56822785 Bytes Send Failure = 0 Errors Unrecognized Frame Destination = 0 Errors System Buffer Unavailable = 0 Errors User Buffer Unavailable = 159 Errors Not implemented or bug or am I missing something? regards, Manfred

re: -.0 I would give the same recommendation as to the author of note 6023. The DECnet Phase IV AM needs an MSL modification and a code modification for support of new types of devices, if that support is not already present inthe code. I would strongly suggest that you fill a CLS for this problem, if not already done. Best regards, Marc. |
