Ultrix V4.3 /DECmcc V1.3 Customer double clicks on child domain, then at the 'looking into domain' field clicks on "CANCEL". Sometimes then, if he reinvoke the main domain, he will se the graphical display as a mix of the original main domain + the child domain. It appears that it depends on hitting "CANCEL" at a certain moment when the error occurs. Anybody heard of this? What to do? Thanks for any help, Poul Sandgren, Network Group/Denmark

Sorry, I got it all mixed up - I misunderstood customer. The problem actually exists right from the moment when he hits "CANCEL" (if he hits it at the right time). Then the two maps get mixed; but then, if he leaves the iconic map and starts it up again, problem is gone. It seems like something in the memory structure for the graphi- cal display gets broken. Anybody seen this? Poul | |||||

I've seen this once on a demo machine I was preparing, but didn't follow up. If it hurts, escalate the problem. Since there is a simple workaround (just wait for completion, don't press CANCEL) I wouldn't consider this high priority. There are more serious bugs to fix, currently. Regards, *Robert |
