5921.0. "NIS X.25 & DNA5 SINKs????" by VFOVAX::GALVIN (Team USA in '94 World Cup!) Sat Mar 26 1994 14:20
Using the NODE AM to Manage DECnis Routers
Has anyone used the NODE AM to manage DECnis Routers? I'm just
starting to get my "feet wet" and need some help... I'd like to be
able to sink events from the NIS(s) and I'd like to be able to setup
the X25 child entities... I keep seeing an "access denied" type of a
message when I try to get to the X25 protocal and access child
entities... Is there something I'm not setting up?
I have VMS V6.0 and EMS V2.3. I'm trying to remotely access a Router
that's in Texas... I'm in Virginia. The path I believe I take to the
remote site is through a Vitalink Bridge 350. I don't know alot about
the filtering that is setup, but I can do most of the CSMACD child
entity stuff, so I think it's ok...smile.
A pointer to the MCC_DNA5_EVL would be nice... I've forgotten where I
saw it... thanks.
/Mic
