5882.0. "Chipcom Error/second detection" by MQOSWS::S_CHARBONNEA () Fri Feb 25 1994 08:57
Looking for a method of generating alarms when the number of errors on
the ports is greater than X per unit of time
Situation:
DECmcc
Chipcom ONLINE /ETHERNET UTP port
PC Pathworks with no NML
The client want to discover a sort of throughput of errors. I think
that some error counter are accessible from SNMP on each port of the
chipcom. Is there a way (other than C program) to generate an ALARMS
when the number of error is greater than X between two poll.
- I'm looking for buildin function
- maybe some DCL could help
