Can anyone help please....... I have just started implementing a series of hubs on MCC and have been trying to create alarms for network utilization and forwarding state. Previously I have used the Forwarding State Entered and the Network Utilization fields within the alarm rule expression. These cannot be used for the DecBridge 90 (and DecBridge 90FL) and so I am stuck !! Anybody have any suggestions or hints on how to do this ?? Thanks in advance Barry

Since the MCC BRIDGE AM (RBMS protocol) does not support the DECbridge 90(FL) you have to look at another management protocol. If you got a DECagent 90 around you could try to get what you want through SNMP variables. I doubt, however, that you will get Network Utilization out of the DB90. But then - I haven't tried it... *Robert | |||||
