Hi,
Just a simple question,
In the Alarms and Notification Services Use manual in the chapter
"Viewing alarms that have fired" (page 5-18) it says that
"alarms automatically clears when the condition detected is corrected
and an event of cleared severity is generated"
Is this true for CHANGE_OF-rules?
I have a rule with the following expression:
CHANGE_OF (Domain SE_NS:.telia.c.nmsystem Rule trigger
state, enabled, disabled),
at every=0:1:0
When I disable the rule trigger, I get the alarm, but when enabling the rule
I don't get any CLEAR-alarm.
I can get the cleared alarm using a comparison-rule.
Have I missed something?
/Nils

Well, if you think about it, what clears a change of condition? Certainly not another change. Other conditions that can have true/false rules can have clears, but a change of rule is neither true or false, just different. No way to signal a clear. | |||||
