I received a call from a field specialist on wanting to know how to use the System WATCHDOG Consolidator with the Collector AM. There is a command file called SNS$EXAMPLES:SNS$TO_MCC.COM. This command is supposed to get information from the Polycenter Watchdog software and sends some parameters to the MCC_EVC_SEND executable. However, the parameters are not correct with what MCC_EVC_SEND needs. Has anyone used this setup and got it to work? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Richard

Most likely the new transport parameter is missing. Edit the procedure and add DECNET or UDPIP to the command that runs MCC_EVC_SEND. *Robert | |||||

correct the watchdog command procedure is v1.2 compatible and v1.3 added a new (last one) parameter for specifying decnet versus IP for the transport. |
