(this is also posted in BULOVA::DECWINDOWS) I running DECmcc SSB 1.3 on a VS4000/90, VMS 5.5-2. Am able to start/run Iconic map fine on this system. Some domains have background maps, all work fine on the local workstation. If I attempt to steer my display to a remote system (VS3100/76), the doamins will come up but the background maps are lost. The background maps are large .X11 files, 2001 VMS blocks each. On the host DECmcc system, I get the following message: $ set disp/cre/node=letha $ manage/ent/int=dec Aborting DISK$MCC:[MCC]MCC_APPL_ALM_MGR.DEF processing. Button POLYCENTER Alarm Manager already defined. [now I click on domain with background map] X Toolkit Warning: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) X Toolkit Warning: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) X Toolkit Warning: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) X Toolkit Warning: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) X Toolkit Warning: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) X Toolkit Warning: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) (ad nauseum) Any ideas how to track this down? re: .1 I wish it were that easy. There is ample free memory, pagefile space. I have been upping the params of the 'display' account (bytlm, pgflquo, etc.) to no avail. Do any of these look inadequate?
