My customer has the following anomaly using MCC 2.3 VMS 5.5: When running performance analyzer on LAN bridge the Network utilization is around 8%, the multicast utilization is 0.14% and the single destination is 10.57%. There is an obvious discrepency with these figures as the formula to work out these figures show that when added together the multicast and destination utilization should roughly equal the total utilization. LTM has been run simultaneously and seems to be more in line with this formula. Any ideas ? Neal Evans - UK Comms TSC

This is a known problem with the PA FM. I know of a PA FM that fixes this bug, but it does not include other fixes (actually I know of three different versions of PA FM, each fixing only one problem). Please open a CLD to get a fix. The above mentioned modules are not for general use since they do not include any revision information and therefore cannot be identified once installed on a customer's system. This will lead to a support nightmare. *Robert |
