Does Polycenter 200 software support SNMP management for a DECnis? We have many MIB variables that are ATTRIBUTE NOT GETTABLE" such as: ipRouteMasks ipRouteDest tcpPassiveOpens tcpAttemptFails tcpInErrs tcpOutRsts ipNetToMediaTable Is this expected or not? Any information would be appreciated.. Richard

I don't know about the DECnis specifically, but in general, ATTRIBUTE NOT GETTABLE means that the agent on the device did not return information requested by the manager. -- Erik

You'd probably get more help on this in the NOTED::DECNIS conference.
5816.3 | Which DECNIS version? | MARVIN::COBB | Graham R. Cobb (Routing), REO2-G/C2, 830-3917 | Fri Jan 14 1994 08:15 | 7 |
The current shipping versions of DECNIS has several SNMP bugs which are all believed to be fixed in DECNIS V2.3 (in Field Test now). However, the tcp variables are not implemented as DECNIS does not include a tcp implementation. Graham |
