Have a customer who is installing MCC on an Ultrix box running 4.3 and
has installed :
# setld -i | grep -i mcc
MCRBMS120 DECmcc Basic Management System
MCRBMS130 installed DECmcc Basic Management System
MCRBMSDICT130 installed DECmcc Dictionary
MCRBMSREL120 DECmcc BMS Release Notes
MCRBMSREL130 installed DECmcc BMS Release Notes
MCRDNA5120 DECmcc DECnet/OSI AM
MCRDNA5130 installed DECmcc DECnet/OSI AM
MCRMAN120 DECmcc Manual Pages
MCRMAN130 installed DECmcc Manual Pages
and also :
# setld -i | grep -i DNS

but is getting the following error when he tries to register the nodes
:
MCC> register node4 jusdev
The requested operation cannot be completed
MCC Routine Error = %MCC-E-DNS_UNMAPPED_ERROR,
DNS Error:
Miscellaneous DNS Error; not
mapped
to a DECmcc CVR
DNS appears to be the problem but all the installs and IVPs have gone
thru with no problems, what have I missed ?

BTW this is a decstation 5000/240 and is a new install.
