MCC_AUDIT.COM for OpenVMS V1.5/AXP
Hi. Just had a peculiar problem... I built a 3100/M76 MCC Station.
VMS V5.5-2/EMS V2.3. I was testing an AXP running OpenVMS V1.5 and
wanted to see if I had the proper system/process quotas... I copied
over the MCC_AUDIT.COM from the VMS platform and ran it... It barfed,
complaining about "VMS" *only* being V1.5...smile.
Is there an MCC_AUDIT.COM, or for that matter, does DECmcc know about
AXP systems running VMS? I just started looking at IMDOWN::NETVIEW and
can see where we're going on OSF. What about VMS futures....?

Cute error. I suppose mcc_audit should check for architecture first... DECmcc is not available for OpenVMS AXP, so I'm sure mcc_audit won't support it either. I think there are some strategy notes in the POLYCENTER notes conference, but in any case, futures questions are usually handed by product management off line. -- Erik | |||||
