Hi,
This has been asked before but ...
Does DECmcc for ULTRIX V1.3 officially support the DEcsystems with
R4000 cpu's such as 5000-260 ? I have a customer who is planning on
upgrading their 8 network management systems which also use TeMIP.
TeMIP states specific support for 5000-260 in version 1.1 SPD and the
notes file says they tested Ok with the functionality they need in
DECmcc 1.3 ? Has DECmcc 1.3 been fully tested with the R4000 based
systems ? I have a DECsystem 5000-150 at customer site running DECmcc
V1.3 and it all seems fine, but for their NMS systems we need to
confirm the official support line.
Thanks in advance,
Euan

I believe the official position is: "Never tested, no support." Its not in the SPD (at leaset the one I have, there may be a leter rev) as a supported CPU. | |||||

It is working and supported in the UK for British Telecom.
