5776.0. "Error using SET DISPLAY/TRANS=TCPIP?" by NPSS::WADE (Bill Wade, Network Systems Support) Tue Dec 07 1993 14:17

    Anyone have any insight on this error when I try to display my mcc
    session over the tcpip  transport?

$ set process /priv=(log_io,phy_io)
$ set display /create /transport=tcpip /node=XNCS16
$ manage /enterprise /interface=decwindows

Did you try using the full ip address? I can't remember what error we got when
we didn't specify fullname but it might be worth a try. This is the syntax
we use from a VMS MCC system to an Ultrix ws.

best regards,
brad...

Focus on this message. You have a resource (memory, quota...) problem
either on the MCC machine or on the display side. Remember: MCC uses a
lot of resources. So running a smaller application like dxclock might
work while MCC does not. Ask a MOTIF and/or TCP/IP guru for assistance.
