Ultrix V4.3 Polycenter Network Manager 200 (DECmcc V1.3).
I have read note 4728 and understand that by virtue of the fact
that DECnet-Ultrix does not return a "seconds since last zeroed"
field when a ncp> tell command is issued, show statistics of a
remote Ultrix node using MCC returns the error message "Counter
Creation Time was not returned".
I would not imagine if I spr'd this problem to Ultrix engineering,
that it would be fixed. Due to DECnet-Ultrix being a retired
product.
So can anybody tell me if there is a workaround to allow a "show
statistics" of a remote node. Using the customers environment of
DECnet-Ultrix (phaseIV) ???
Failing that, what other way can the customer use MCC to monitor
such things as PACKET RATE and ETHERNET CONGESTION ???
