5706.0. "Problem regaistering Phase V nodes(Ultrix)" by AKOCOA::SATISH () Tue Nov 02 1993 14:13
HI,
I have a problem registering Phase V nodes using dna5 access module
with the polycenter 200 on Ultrix.
I am using :
DEC station 5000/133
Ultrix Ver.4.3
Ultrix WS (UWS)
DECnet/OSI Ver.5.1-0
DECmcc Ver.1.3 (Polycenter 200)
Problem: 1. Always does partial registration , even though node is
available.
2. At one instance , did full registration and then
declared entity not reachable later on.
Other
Observation: 1. When enrolling OSI access module using FCL, the process
shows :
mcc_dns5_am 17 Y
2. When enrolling OSI access module thru start up file, using
set mcc 0 mcc_dns5_am sink
the process shows: mcc_dna5_am 16 N
I donot understand the difference here between these numbers 16
, 17 and Y, N. In both cases DECmcc has problems registering
Phase V nodes especially WAN routers aka.. DECNIS 600 and WAN
Router 90.
Has anybody encountered such a problem. Any clues how to go abt it.
