5659.0. "DNS entity created for circuit registration?" by CSC32::BEACH (Bill Beach, CSC/CS IISG) Wed Oct 13 1993 22:12
Can someone tell me what entities are created in DNS when you register a phase
V circuit (in this case the phase V node is a decnis)? I am getting a DNS
NO RESOURCE error when trying to register circuits on two decnises (sp?) in
a particular domain, yet I can register circuits on other decnises in another
domain. Both domains are owned by system and I am using the system account.
I noticed a previous note that said this DNS error was a RMS record limitation
in DNS v1.1. I cannot see anything in DNS for the circuits that are registering
okay.
