    If you use application launching and pass the <Mapfile> argument
    to the application IMPM opens the mapfile 
    	AND KEEPS IT OPEN 
    until you finish the DECmcc session....
    
    Even if you save the map and/or switch domain IMPM keeps the file open.
    
    We're on VMS 5.5 and DECmcc v1.3.
    
    Do a 'SHOW DEVICE MCC_MAPS /FILE' before and after launching the
    application and you'll see that the mapfile passed to the application
    will show up in the second 'SHOW DEVICE'.
    
    This is not to serious, but since I discovered it, I think I should
    mention it.

    P.S. Should I submit a bugreport, CLD or QAR or whatever? 
         Can we expect a bugfix release for VMS?  If so, in what 
    	 timeframe?
