I am running VMS 5.5-2, MCC-BMS 1.1. Whenever I try to start MCC,
I get an error message regarding DNS server not running. I thought that
DNS came with the system. I do not have a DNS$CONTROL.EXE anywhere on
my system however. Am I missing something? I have run MCC before
without being bothered with a DNS message.
Thanks
EW

Only the DNS client comes with VMS. To get the server you have to install DNS011. DNS$CONTROL.EXE is part of the server. The rest of the story depends on the version of MCC you are actually running. *Robert | |||||
