    I'm working on an RFP for a customer.  They are looking at purchasing
    DECmcc and I need a few picky questions answered in a hurry.  I really
    appreciate any help that you can provide.
    
    1. What is the MID translation/integration tool?
    
    2. Does DECmcc provide help?  i.e. When an icon lights up and you click
       on it, does it tell you what to look for to correct the problem?
    
    3. Will LTM provide a breakdown of the amount of traffic flowing
       between two nodes?
    
    4. Will LTM recognize the Novell IPX protocol?
    
    5. Can the iconic map be printed?  If so, what printers are supported?
    
    6. Is RMON supported?  What is RMON?
    
    7. Can SUN/HP boxes be managed by the SNMP module?

The MIB translator takes a MIB (Management Information Base) description file in ASN.1 format according to RFC1212 and translates it into a format that MCC can understand. In other words, it makes the features of an SNMP manageable device known to MCC. > 2. The description can be seen by clicking on the notification line (not the icon) or you can have it e.g. mailed to you. > 3. No. LTM does not count end-to-end traffic. But you could use LTM-Reports
