I'm not sure this is the right place for thi but here goes ... We have just installed ELMS011 on a VAX 4000/600. On atempting to start the service we get the message 'No Ethernet (NI) adapter on this node !'. Having looked at the ELMS$STARTUP.COM file the devices searched for are XQ,XE,ET,ES and EX. On the 4000/600 however the ethernet adapter is built into the processor and is of an EZ type. Are there any patches for ELMS for the new adapter or is there something else we should do ? Thanks in advance, Shaun.

Yea, do a show def EZ and get the full device name, and then edit the startup file and ad it in where it does the search. I had to do the same thing on a 6000 for a DEMNA, which is EXA0. Ed Keltz |
