Hello,
Is there an environmenent variable which allows me to specify where my
alarms MIR files will be located (mcc_alarms_attributes_mir etc... I
believe there are four of them) ?
Context : PNM200 1.3 on Ultrix.
Thank you, Amicalement,
Philippe.

Have you tried MCC_ALARMS_LOCATION? I just looked in mcc_login.csh and found it there.

Erik,
Yes,we tried it at the customer site but it doesn't seem to do much. Is
this a bug or a feature?
Regards,
Philippe.

I'm afraid that use of this variable at a customer site is a bug, since these are intended for developer use and are not documented for end users. My recollection is that when you try to move a repository, you have to also delete /var/mcc/mcc_mir_repo_table.*, since that has pointers to all the other repositories. It will be re-created the first time it is used. I would strongly recommend that you try this yourself before experimenting at the customer site. Also remember that you must stop the alarms FM process before defining the environmental variable. -- Erik
