MCC BMS V1.3, VMS V5.5-2. DECnet/OSI (Wave 2) Hi, I have a customer who is having a problem with the MCC_DNA5_EVL. If he does MCC>ENABLE MCC 0 DNA5_AM SINK. It doesn't create the Session Control application mcc_evl_sink. If I get him to manage/enter/presen=mcc_dna5_evl, this works. The customer assures me that it used to work and just stopped! Any ideas.......... Cheers, Phil.

I would do a "show system" and see if there is any interactive process out there with the process name MCC_EVL_SINK. If so, either kill it or change the process name. The sink tries to make sure there is only one copy of itself running at a time by making sure it is the only process on the system with that name. If you had run it interactively then your process name may have been set to that and the sink will never come up. | |||||

Hi, Thanks for your reply. There are no processes with that name on the customers system so it appears to be some other problem. He is running on a Wave2 system if this is relevant. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Phil. |
