Hi, Anyone got any ideas on the following : DECmcc V1.3, VMS 5.5-2 ..... trying to register a phase IV node I get the following : MCC> register node4 watchn_ns:.sqf.piv.ayosqf syn ayosqf Node4 WATCHN_NS:.sqf.piv.ayosqf AT 23-AUG-1993 16:19:46 Partial registration success. 5522.1 | Internal Phase IV Registration problem | KIRKTN::BFJONES | Tue Aug 24 1993 09:37 | 17
Hi, Looks like no ones daring to answer my problem on 5522 ..... gone through the process of ensuring the MCC config is ok by running MCC_AUDIT and correcting SYSGEN parameters and rebooting the system. I have also ensured that for the nodes I'm going to register that they appear in the local NCP database. Still no joy !!!! Any ideas on how to fix this one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks /Brian
5522.2 | CML problem? | TOOK::PURRETTA | Sun Aug 29 1993 11:24 | 4
if you're running DECnet phaseV you probably are hitting a known problem with the version of CML that was shipped by the DECnet group and need to install their fixed version. See note 5346.1 and related notes. |
